The most likely aspect we remember of other people is their faces. Taking note of that, no one would ever wish being remembered as the face full of unsightly pimples and spots. Hopefully, I will help you to get that smooth and lovely face clear of spots and blemishes.
Probably you have already learned a lot about the skin infection. Here is just an overview of what it is all about. Acne or Aetius Amidenus could be caused by dead membrane cells and excess fats clogging up the pores (little micro-outlets). The infection can either be inflammatory or non-inflammatory.
Some people do actually believe that the breakouts resign you to a lifetime of misery of which there is no escape. On the contrary, the infection is completely curable. All you need is the right treatment and a bit of patience and soon you will have a pimple free face. Advances in scientific research have also proved instrumental in better diagnosis and treatment of the infection.
The most readily available form of treatment are OTC (over the counter) medication. Most of these OTC products contain benzoyl peroxide which is a highly effective agent in treating breakouts. It is always good to wash your face using a mild cleanser before applying any of these products for good results. Note that, excessive rubbing or washing too many times can lead to dryness.
A unique method in skin care involves freezing the zits and pimples. This helps reduce clogging and excessive production of sebum by the sebaceous glands. Make sure to combine this with a topical application that has the active agent BP (benzoyl peroxide) to help boost its effectiveness.
Toothpaste is also a good treatment for pimples and zits. All you have to do is apply some paste on the affected area and let it stay overnight before washing it off. Using lemon juice is another fast acting alternative. Lemon juice has an acidic content that is effective in self-treatment of pimples. Simply squeeze the juice directly on the affected area. It is irritating, but worth the effort. Remember to wash it off after fifteen minutes.
A honey and cinnamon face mask is a great natural alternative to chemical masks. It works well in reducing pimples on the face. If you do not prefer cinnamon, a paste of honey and tea tree oil is another excellent option. The antibacterial property of honey makes the paste useful in eliminating harmful bacteria.
A well-balanced and proper diet is highly recommended while undergoing acne treatment. Avoid junky or oily food, since these can aggravate the condition. Complement healthy eating with regular body exercise and you will be well on your way to a smooth, lovely face.
