Transfer Technologies and Advances in Future Combat
Transfer Technologies and Advances in Future Combat The human visual ability is unique and superb as Earth Species go. But we cannot see everything. For instance heat, sound waves, electricity, 85% of the spectrums of light, gravity waves, etc., but what if we could? We have man-made devices, which allow us to see these things already; Sonar, Night vision goggles, radar, thermo imaging, etc. What if we put all these components into a night vision head set and linked it up to the brain directly with all this information? By visually observing waves of all types, disruption of all types we could sense events just prior to happening as the waves approach. For instance bullets approaching pushing on sound waves, people approaching by electro-magnetic signatures and brain waves, cars approaching by the airflow movement, etc. Even thought waves of danger being projected by another would be relatively easy to sense. Sending thoughts would also come natural and also knowing when to recognize them, interpret them and sense them. An enemy cannot hide if you can see his heat, see his heart beat, feel and sense his brain waves, not to mention the anomalies created by things like PDA devices, embedded RFID tracking devices for his armies command and control 'Blue force-Red force' component and imitation of our own technologies. All of this could be done on a smaller scale than the sophisticated Net-Centric; Satellite, AWACs, PDA, UAV, SmartBomb interconnected systems. Now then with this lofty goal in mind and knowing that we are well on our way, we need to simplify the equation and ask ourselves some crucial questions. One of the first questions is in the wartime battle space, why have human solders? After all as we approach the world of human-computer interfaces for such things, we are also approaching and entering the world of Artificial Intelligence. So then why do you need the organic, often fallible human component for the last mile, or the one who fires the weapon? The actual answer may be a reason to enroll your college offspring at MIT's Artificial Intelligence Lab, Georgia Tech's UAV program, Stanford University's Mathematics program or Carnegie Mellon's, Berkeley's or Caltech's robotics research programs now. We ought to fund such research and move it along as quickly as possible because the offshoots of such projects will rapidly spill into the private sector for the benefit of all. All of these tools can be used to help humans with disabilities, space travel, robotic first responders and safety our roadways and airlines. Think about it. What are the Biggest Solar Projects? Solar power will be necessary for space exploration and off planet colonies on the moon and Mars in the next few decades and our advances here on Earth will assist us with the knowledge we need to power them up. Some may not realize but we have come a long way in our solar technology in the last few decades and we are now ready to take this experience and knowledge to the next level; to build something out of this world. Spray on Dirt for Camouflage Super sticky spray on dirt or mud simulation coating or wash-off-able paint is needed to protect our troops in combat. It can be used for aircraft bottoms, helicopters and humvees. Weather Control and Creation to Use as a Screen for Troop Advancement Creating a Hurricane using a Space based laser array to heat up surface waters when conditions are right. By using a tropical storm system and super heating the water in the path and then in a counter clock wise direction if in the Northern Hemisphere or Clock-wise if in the Southern Hemisphere because;"A hurricane is an immense circulating storm, an intense case of a class of weather systems called tropical cyclones. Marine News - Summer 2004 - Our Ocean Environment Our oceans are home to many marine mammals, fish, turtles, corals and others. The delicate balance between man and the ocean is constantly being challenged by the demands of our society. Human Motion, Walking, Running and Gait for Identification Identifying a human gait, walking patterns, running exists. Can such records be of value? Many think so. Embryonic Stem Cell Stem cells are primitive undifferentiated cells that have the capability to form any of the 220 different types of cells in the human body. The embryonic stem cell is found in the embryo and develops into various cells that make a baby. Mini-Robots, Motherships, Swarm Strategies, Wasps, Ants, Organization and Delivery Robots are for every one. Tech TV now host Battle Bots which is a big hit with viewers and draws crowds as big as WFB Wrestling. Moon Rover Robotic Concept; Planetary Exploration I propose a beach ball hopping robotic planetary explorer, which could work in swarms, instead of a larger rover, which might be stuck in the lunar dust or red sands of Mars. One interesting concept is in a white paper by Paolo Fiorini entitled; "A Hopping Robot for Planetary Exploration" in which the robot has several design configurations all weighing considerable amount. Electromagnetic Energy in Meteorites - Theory I have some friends who have the largest private meteor collection on Earth. He and his son 14 years old and a candidate for this idea; Now then in conversations, they explained all the cataloged meteor findings and found that each US state has 500 (there is an encyclopedia of such no doubt?) or so findings and confirmed by tests such as cross cut section, material grain patterns, density not found on Earth, etc, etc. Acoustic Transducers and Light Waves for VSTOL, a Concept Is it possible to use many acoustic transducers underneath an aircraft in a crisscross fashion to make the air much thicker. Almost like a platform that a VSTOL aircraft using low pressure could use to push off of? Although the amount of energy to be required to do this might be substantial; it seems to be possible. Enemy UAV Defense is under consideration Unmanned Aerial Vehicles should be shot down from the air rather than the ground because if they are flown tele-robotically the operator who is looking down and forward will not know where the anti-aircraft device is. If the enemy uses Unmanned Aerial Vehicles to draw fire, which is a smart move for them, then once fired upon the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle whether it is shot down or not has now located our weaponry and troops. Making a Lightening Storm? Here is a very basic concept idea/plan to harvest energy from Lightening. It is done in an artificial chamber, simulating weather in the atmosphere, but under exact and controlled circumstances; still in the incubation-thinking phase. Flying a Beach Ball UFO Recently some NASA Scientists were able to fly a MAV; Micro Air Vehicle using a laser to power it and then chase it around the room with the laser beam? Sounds like kids stuff, yet is has some incredible applications for other things. For instance we could use Whispering Windows and Talking Glass Technologies to propel helium filled beach ball. Gerald Hawkins There is something about the Hawkins clan that I like. My most adept and austere teacher was a Hawkins related to Black Jack the Privateer and I wonder if this man who died recently while happily flying his model airplanes is one of them. Acoustic Transducers and Material Memory in Pipelines to Create Flow Up Hill For the better part of human history mechanical pumps and suction techniques have been used to bring water uphill. By using dynamic pressure, downhill kinetic energy, pumps, suction and heating up the fluid mankind has been busy getting those fluids to market or desired areas. Shooting Down a UAV in Flight Shooting Down an Enemy UAV so it cannot give away military movement intelligence. We know that with any new innovation in warfare or any new theme that comes along or borrowed technology from another industry to help in the ongoing struggle and conflict of man is short lived. Hurricane and Typhoons Show Drop in Ozone Levels A recent study, which was conducted by the Florida State University, showed that ozone levels drop as the Hurricanes get bigger. The NASA funded study looked at readings in the upper atmosphere of 12 storms. Life on Mars, Warm Water Under our Ice Caps, Evidence, Microbes under Our Feet Well many people out there are asking is there really life on Mars? Our Thinking Group has been asking not if, what type?An article I remember reading and article in Astronomy Magazine back in 1996 that read was there life on Mars and it was an article about a meteorite that landed here on Earth and it was found in 1984 in Antarctica in the Allen Hills ice fields, like I even know where that is? It had bacteria fossils and remains of bacteria that lived about 3.6 billion years ago and the meteor appeared to have come from Mars. Big Bang or Lots of Big Fire Crackers? There are many who talk about the Big Bang Theory. Although no one can be sure what went bang? Steven Hawking suggests it does not matter what went bang, because we will never know, so let's think on things we can know. |
