What are the benefits of Nuclear War again; I must have missed that point?
Indian and Pakistan and nuclear war. What does the world lose if India and Pakistan have a nuclear war? Well in Southern India; in the cities of Hyderabad, Banglore, and Coimbatore there are many students who come to America and learn our technologies and bring their hard work ethic and ideas. Once here they often join others and start companies. These people bring their brains and give much to America and since they work harder and study harder than most American students they achieve higher positions and are able to excel faster which adds to the innovation and new innovations in America. No they are not all Patels and no thy do not all run hotels. This is a bad thing to lose this flow of brains to America. We actually go there to recruit the best and brightest. http://www.sristi.org/Sristi%20scouting.htm http://www.bell-labs.com/news/2000/june/5/1.html And what are other issues such as Fallout? Well wouldn't it be a bummer if Pakistan fired on India first and then the fallout blew back over them and to the north too, where all the Afghanistan people we tried to save with our human aid died of radiation poisoning and fallout? But winds do not stop at borders that are man made they continue to flow and it is estimated that it would cause an additional minimum of 12 million more deaths besides those that fried, and the countless others affected would be astronomical and many would not die who wish they did. What is the benefits to Nuclear War, now many say there are none. Regulatory Hooey Protects Us From Our Own Health Legislation is getting legs to further curtail your use of nutritional supplements. Not too long ago, prior to passage of the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act (DSHEA) - which was accomplished by millions of letters to legislators by people like you - the FDA acted like a Gestapo against supplements, manufacturers and professional advocates. Monitoring Macedonia Close to 500,000 people - one in four - live under the poverty line in a country where the average monthly salary is less than 150 US dollars. More than one in three members of the workforce are chronically unemployed. Council of Six The head of the Club of Rome has said that the major issue that prevents World Peace is the matter of terminology or differences in what people mean across different cultures. I have no illusions about having devised a fool proof proposal here - but it would be nice if the dialogue existed and not until it does exist will there be much hope for real change. Clearing Land Mine Fields from the Air You know we have sent many, many army tanks with protruded devices used for minesweeping to the Middle East from the Logistics Base in our country. They are assigned to removing the left over land mines of past wars. Enlightenment Experiments Pierre Dupont de Nemours:After arranging the Armistice that ended or settled outstanding issues after the Revolutionary War Pierre Dupont de Nemours came to join the Royals including the Hapsburgs who were living near Jefferson and other esoteric Merovingians in and around Delaware. He and his family became important armaments manufacturers and it is reasonable to remember what Eisenhower said in his Military-Industrial Complex speech. The Options For Regime Change In Iran If recent speeches by US officials on Iran's plans to become a nuclear power can be seen as part of a build-up to a possible US-evoked regime change in Iran, the intelligence behind it is at once scant and abundant. Whatever the real official US policy toward Iran is aiming for exactly is hard to get clear, but it is noteworthy that off late, US officials have stepped up their campaign of Iran criticism. Garbage in Garbage out; California Blackouts Why did the California energy crisis happen? Who is to blame? How come deregulation was a financial disaster? Some of the data in the research did not predict what would happen, probably because research people are not; go for it, make it happen entrepreneurs. So their report was just 1000s of pages of incessant data about nothing and basically BS. UAV Materials and Thoughts on New Technologies and Keeping Up With Our Opponents Possible UAV materials are infinite: Foam, Composite, Balsa Wood, Plastic, Synthetic Balloon Material, Aluminum, Titanium, Spider Web Organic Material, etc. I propose some late breaking technology and newer materials, ceramic coatings and or UAVs built from photorefractive composites? Market Impeders and Market Inefficiencies Even the most devout proponents of free marketry and hidden hand theories acknowledge the existence of market failures, market imperfections and inefficiencies in the allocation of economic resources. Some of these are the results of structural problems, others of an accumulation of historical liabilities. If the Water is Polluted, Ever Wonder What is in it? I would like to discuss a few issues we have been reading in the mass media about the kinds of stuff in our rivers. Forget about the DDT and all the pesticides from Industry, we need to look at our own lives and in our own mirror. Colts' Stadium Short on Horse Sense The predominant discussion in the Indianapolis media over the proposed $500 million Colts stadium is how to fund it, not over the wisdom and propriety of taxpayers going into debt to build it.Apparently the leaders of both major political parties in Indiana have signed off on the concept, including a poor building design, and are content to confine their discussion to who's picking up the tab. What could Macedonia Learn from a Tiger? Military Intelligence, FBI, CIA Intelligence Problems Well many have complained that the FBI and CIA dropped the ball in the 9-11 attacks. The Power of Media: Russian Perspective Journalism, as it is often said, is the 'fourth branch of power', along with legislative, executive and judiciary, not any less mighty than those three, even if not legally endorsed in the Russian constitution. It is the power of symbolism, and it cannot be escaped, but can only "used" to bring truth, or "abused" to bring propaganda. The True Power of Terrorism Those of us hundreds of miles from ground zero sat glued to our television sets with horror and disbelief as two of the tallest buildings in the world slowly disintegrated in a violence of dust and death.Since that bright September morning in 2001, none of us have felt the same. The Worlds Eldest Democracy Was A Truly Romantic Affair Visible remnants of the world's eldest democracy can be seen in a town in the Carantania region in what is now Austria, where during the early Middle Ages, the tribal society of a Slav people managed to live for over 100 years without being invaded and out of sheer happiness invented a democratic system. They did not call it a democracy but the word invented later was taken directly from their example. |
